I was born and raised in Tippecanoe County near Lafayette, Indiana, where my connection to land started early. A lot of that came from time spent in Benton County working alongside my Grandpa Wetli on the family farm. From baling hay to riding in the combine, those experiences shaped how I view land and the role it plays in people’s lives.
I stayed close to home and attended Purdue University, earning both my undergraduate and master’s degrees while playing baseball for five years. After college, I worked in a management role with The Andersons, Inc. in Clymers, Indiana, where I gained firsthand experience working with farmers across the state and understanding crop production, yields, and land value.
After getting married and moving to Boone County, I decided to pursue real estate full time and join Mossy Oak Properties. Today, my office isn’t a desk—it’s wherever the land is. Whether that’s a farmer’s shop, a field, or a piece of timber, I spend my time working directly with the ground and the people connected to it.
I know Benton, Tippecanoe, Boone, and Hendricks counties especially well because of my background and time spent living and working in these areas. Indiana offers a unique mix of productive farmland, strong hunting opportunities, and tight-knit communities, which makes it a great place to own and invest in land.
To me, land is more than an asset. It’s something that carries history, supports livelihoods, and creates opportunities for the future.
