Ask Jeff Michalic
The US 150 Wetlands is a 19 acre property in western Vigo County just north West Terre Haute, IN 47885. This property has a small pond for freshwater fishing and enough room for a small cabin. The remaining acres are thick with a lot of new growth that the resident wildlife are thriving on. The whitetail deer spend a good deal of time here browsing the new tasty greens. This thick young forest provides plenty of nesting cover for the wild turkeys. Several low spots on the property hold water during wet times. These small water holes are perfect for duck, geese and other waterfowl. The property is in the floodplain and floods when the river climbs out of its banks.
