The Covered Bridge 33 is a 33 acre property in Parke County near the great little town of Rockville, IN 47872. This property has 12 acres of CRP and 18 acres of woods with the Little Raccoon Creek running through it. This area has also produced some incredible whitetail deer, which will only get better as the CREP acres mature and becomes thicker. Neighboring properties are also in crop production which provides plenty of food for those growing bucks. The creek gives the resident wildlife plenty of places to drink year round with some light freshwater fishing. The wooded acres are steep with a lot of nice trees for plenty of stand locations. The deer sign is everywhere in the form of rubs, scrapes, and trails that have been worn down from years of use. The many ridge tops produce a lot of roosting trees for the resident turkeys. Access to the property is very good with county road frontage 130 East on the west side. The Nevins Covered Bridge is a great back drop for pictures and reminds us of a simpler time\. The annual payment for the CRP is $3732.00 per year. Some recent light timbering has encourged some new growth to the wooded acres with increased sunlight, and the remaining trees offer the small game plenty of places to hide.
